| Grundprinzip der Arbeit an der Skulptur ist das Wegnehmen von Material. Bosshart (WABO) bekennt sich damit zu seiner Herkunft, der Steinbildhauerei. Die filigranen Eisenskulpturen sind autogen geschnitten und ruhen – wie die Arbeiten aus Holz – in sich selbst. Bossharts Skulpturen sind erschaffen, dem Material abgewonnen, dessen genuine Qualität dabei nie verletzt wird. Sie sind Ergebnis eines meist langwierigen und zeitintensiven Prozesses. Die Einwirkung der Werkzeuge bleibt meist sichtbar. Bosshart vollzieht die Arbeit am Objekt intuitiv. Seine Kunst erzeugt keinen Erklärungsbedarf, weil sie auf die Umsetzung gedanklicher Konzepte weitgehend verzichtet. Das Werk ist das Werk. Die Aesthetik der Formgebung stimmt mit der Aussage überein. |

| The key principle of the work on the sculpture is the removal of material. Bosshart (wabo) pays homage to his origins, the stone sculpture. The filigree iron sculptures are autogenously formed and rest – as do the pieces made of wood – within themselves. Bossharts sculptures are created, reclaimed from the material while never injuring its genuine essence. They are the result of a mostly painstaking and time-consuming process. The impact of tools remains generally visible. Bosshart carries out his work on the object intuitively.
